This wine is from one of the best producers, Poliziano, located in the beautiful village of Montepulciano in the heart of Tuscany.  The wine is made entirely of sangiovese grapes, silky soft with lovely blackcurrant fruits on the palate.  This is a great match for Italian cuisine, medium to full bodied and very well balanced.  One of favourites here at Grapevine!
